Japanese Rice Cake Pounding

We were lucky enough to be involved in a Japanese rice cake pounding experience yesterday. All of us got a chance to pound the rice and enjoy the finished cakes with soy sauce and brown sugar!

Our first technology challenge

We had 20 minutes to build a device that could launch a marble 3 meters along the floor to hit a target. We were only allowed 6 pieces of newspaper, 1 meter of Sellotape and a pair of scissors.
